Compared to another MtM service at a similar price point:
1. Material is very thin, which means collar is very flimsy. Customer service suggested to request collar samples for the next order.
2. Buttons are barely shanked. It was much easier to button/unbutton my other MtM shirt. Also, I'm not sure what kind of MOP buttons these are, but they're not entirely glossy like my other ones. These are white with the MOP effect only on the rim. I've attached pictures. Left is luxire MOP. Right is what I expect as MOP.
3. I reported to customer service that the shirt does not fit well. Instead of offering to remake the shirt, they suggested I update my measurements for my next shirt. (What about the current shirt??)
The part that bothers me the most is that they won't make your current order right. You're out of luck and they just ask you to spend more money to hopefully make your next order better. At first, I brought myself to try and live with it. But over time I grew to dislike the shirt. So now I have a $120 kitchen rag.
I'm not sure how they can expect me to spend more money on them when the prior experience was poor. I would cut them some slack if their website is more sophisticated, but it's quite bare bones and not transparent. There is not enough guidance for a first time customer on this antique website and the customer service is unyielding. Of course I won't be happy with the experience. Good luck
